Katelyn Mitchem, a senior at Wyoming, finished fifth in the Mountain West Conference women's cross country championship race at the Jacoby Golf Course in Laramie. Mitchem covered the 6-kilometer layout in 19:52.5 to help Wyoming finish fourth with 110 points. Mitchem improved from a 38th-place performance last year at the conference final in Albuquerque, N.M.
